Privacy Policy
This policy covers the runIT Software Solutions website and the runIT POS mobile app. It is effective October 6, 2026.
runIT Software Solutions (“we”) operates this website from 6681 33rd St E, Sarasota, FL 34243. The runIT POS app does not collect personal information. The website receives information only as described below.
The runIT POS app
The runIT POS mobile app is a printer bridge for runIT point-of-sale systems. It does not collect personal information.
The app does not ask you to create an account. It does not include advertising or analytics, and it does not send personal information to us. Addresses you save for a point-of-sale system stay on your device. The app uses the local network and Bluetooth only to reach the system and receipt printers you choose to connect. We do not receive the contents of those connections.
If you open a point-of-sale system from inside the app, that system is a separate service. Information entered there is handled by the operator of that system, not collected by the app.
This website
You can browse the site without giving us your name. We receive information only in the cases below, and only what you choose to send or what your browser sends in the ordinary course of a visit.
- Inquiries and support requests you submit, such as your name, business, email, phone number, and message.
- Details a booking provider collects if you schedule time through the contact page. That provider handles the booking under its own terms.
- Technical data such as browser type, pages viewed, and approximate location, through analytics and an error-reporting tool.
- An IP address, used briefly to limit abusive form submissions. We do not use it to build a profile of you.
- Business name and contact saved in this browser if you use the support form, so you do not have to retype them. That stays on your device until you clear it.
How we use it
We use what you send to respond to you, operate and protect the site, and keep ordinary business records. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We may use service providers to host the site, deliver email, and receive form messages. They may handle that information only to do that work. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users, or the public.
Cookies
The site uses cookies and similar tools for analytics and to remember basic visit data. You can block or delete cookies in your browser. The site still works if you do. Blocking cookies does not turn off every technical log a browser or network may create.
Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. There is no accepted standard for those signals, and the site does not respond to them in a special way.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions and related records only while we have a business or legal reason to keep them. We do not promise a fixed deletion date. Information stored only in your browser stays there until you remove it.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information we hold. No website, app, or transmission is completely secure. You send information at your own risk. Do not send passwords, payment card numbers, government ID numbers, or other sensitive data through the site forms.
Children
The site and the runIT POS app are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Other sites
The site may link to other services or embed their tools, including scheduling and analytics. Those services have their own policies. We are not responsible for what they collect or how they use it.
Changes
We may update this policy by posting a new version on this page. The date above is the version that applies. Continuing to use the site or the app after we post a change means you accept the updated policy, to the extent the law allows that.
Limits
This policy describes our practices. It does not create a contract, warranty, or extra duty. We do not guarantee that information will remain private, that the site or app will be error-free, or that any third party will handle information as we do.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for unauthorized access to, loss of, or misuse of information, or for the acts of service providers and other third parties. Nothing here limits liability the law does not allow us to limit, and nothing here creates a right to sue beyond what those laws already provide.
Contact
Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected], or by mail to 6681 33rd St E, Sarasota, FL 34243. We will respond as required by law. We do not promise a particular timeline except where the law sets one.
